Tell me what you are trying to see
If you have operational data, no internal AI engineering function, and a question you cannot currently answer from it — that is the shape of problem I take on. I will tell you honestly whether it is worth building, including when the answer is no.
Email is the fastest route
No form, no routing, no autoresponder — it comes straight to me and I am the person who replies.
rahul@vizzingdata.comI reply to every genuine enquiry within two working days.
What to put in the first message
None of this is required — but the more of it you include, the more useful my first reply will be. It is the difference between “let’s set up a call to scope it” and an actual opinion.
- The question you cannot answer. Not the technology you think you need — the thing you want to know and currently cannot find out.
- Where the data lives. A system name, an export, a database, a pile of spreadsheets. “I’m not sure” is a valid answer and a common one.
- Roughly how much of it there is. Hundreds of rows or hundreds of thousands — it changes the approach completely.
- Who needs the answer. One operations lead, a leadership team, or your own customers. This decides whether it is a report, a dashboard or an application.
- Any hard constraint. A compliance requirement, a cloud you must stay on, a deadline, a budget ceiling. Constraints make the first reply sharper, not weaker.
Whether this is a fit
Being clear about this up front saves us both a call. I would rather decline early than take work I cannot do well.
A good fit
- Your operational data exists but nobody can query it usefully
- You want a language model working over your own data, not a generic chatbot
- You need to know what the AI will cost to run before you commit
- You are in a regulated or high-stakes setting where a human must review output
- You already have BI or reporting and want to go further with it
- You want one accountable person rather than an account manager
Not a fit
- You want a chatbot on your website with no real data behind it
- You need a delivery team staffed next month — this is a one-person practice
- You need 24/7 on-call or guaranteed same-day response
- You are collecting competing bids and optimising purely on price
- You want model training or fine-tuning from scratch rather than applied delivery
What happens after you write
- A reply with an actual opinion, within two working days — not a calendar link.
- One call if it looks like a fit, to check I have understood the problem.
- A paid discovery piece as the usual starting point: I take your real data and build one working report or prototype, so you decide from something concrete rather than a proposal.
- Your name stays private unless you agree otherwise. That is why the case study on the services page is anonymised.
